The study of Hebrew language, literature, and culture provides more than just competence in reading, writing, and speaking the language. Students taking these classes also learn about Hebrew literature, art, and journalism and, hence, about the people themselves. Through courses in other departments, students may also investigate the history, philosophy, and political science.

STUDY ABROAD

To become more fluent in Hebrew and to gain additional insight into the Hebrew culture and its people, students are encouraged to study abroad. For further information, contact the Hebrew Language Program Coordinator or the Division of International Programs Abroad.
